There is no objection to your asking another about conditional divorce, as you are not obligated to ask the first Mufti. This is because the duty of a layperson is to ask someone whose piety and knowledge they trust, so they can act upon their , in accordance with the Almighty's saying: ﴿So ask the people of the message if you do not know.﴾ [An-Nahl: 43]. Therefore, one should strive to know the most knowledgeable person of their time. However, moving between Muftis seeking leniency is forbidden by because it is a pursuit of forbidden whims. We advise the husband to be careful of anger and uttering divorce as a means to solve problems, and we advise the wife to avoid any reason that might provoke her husband.
