Is seeing Satan real, and can anyone see him, especially after it was said that Satan was never seen more humiliated or enraged than on the days of Badr and Arafah?

The scholars have weakened the hadith (definition), "The Shaytan was never seen on a day when he was more abased, more expelled, more humiliated, or more enraged than on the Day of Arafat, except for what he was shown on the Day of Badr," due to its mursal (sent, i.e., missing a Companion in the chain of narration) nature. It was narrated by Talhah ibn Ubaydullah ibn Kurayz, who was a Tabi'i (successor) and did not meet the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. However, the hadith has been narrated with a connected chain (musnad) through other routes from Ali, Ibn Umar, and Abu Hurayrah. The phrase "was seen" is in the passive voice, and the Shaytan is veiled from human sight. Whatever the case, seeing the Shaytan in such a state should not distract a person from obeying Allah and striving in supplication and worship on the Day of Arafat.
