There is no prophetic hadith (definition) with a specific supplication for the barber. However, one should supplicate for him if his work is an act of kindness. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sometimes let his hair grow to his shoulders as a custom, and this is not a Sunnah (definition). The command was given to lengthen beards and trim mustaches to differ from the Zoroastrians. It is not known that Abu Bakr paid double the barber's fee. It is forbidden for the pilgrim and Umrah (definition) performer to cut their hair until the completion of their rituals, and for anyone intending to offer a sacrifice, from the beginning of Dhul-Hijjah until the sacrifice is slaughtered.
