Whoever performs ' during the months of Hajj and then performs Hajj in the same year, is a mutamatti' (one who combines 'Umrah and Hajj) and must offer a hady (sacrificial animal), the minimum of which is a sheep to be slaughtered in the and distributed among the poor. The (sacrifice of an animal) is a confirmed , and there is disagreement regarding its obligation for a pilgrim. If a pilgrim offers an udhiyah, it is permissible for him to include his wife in its reward, but it does not suffice for the obligatory hady.
