The answer

A person must fulfill what they have vowed, and it is not permissible to change it; this is the view of the majority of scholars. If one vows to slaughter an animal, it is stipulated that it must meet the conditions of a sacrificial animal () in terms of age and freedom from defects, based on the rule that a vow is interpreted as fulfilling the minimum obligation.
