It is obligatory to fulfill a vow of obedience in the manner in which it was vowed, as long as that is possible, and it is not permissible to substitute it with an alternative. Therefore, you must slaughter the sacrificial animal you vowed, as long as the condition upon which the vow was contingent has been met, and giving its price in charity is not sufficient.
