Is it permissible to offer as a sacrifice (adha) or an aqiqah a sheep whose tail (fat-tail) was amputated in its youth for the purpose of fattening its body?

The Udhiyah (definition) (sacrificial animal), Hady (offering made during Hajj), and Aqiqah (definition) (sacrifice for a newborn) are not valid if the animal has had its tail (rump) cut off. This is based on the Hadith (definition) of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded inspecting the eye and ear, and forbade sacrificing an animal that is one-eyed, has its ear cut from the front, or from the back, or has a slit ear, or a torn ear. However, if the sheep was born without a tail to begin with, then it is valid.
