Among the recommended acts on Eid are: uttering the Takbir from sunset on the last day of until the Imam comes out for the prayer, performing before going to the prayer ground, adorning oneself with clothing, eating before going out for the Eid al-Fitr prayer, going to the prayer from one path and returning from another, walking to the Eid prayer ground, performing two rak'ahs if the prayer is in the mosque, and attending the Eid sermon after the prayer, even if attendance is optional.
