How do I observe the night of Eid al-Adha?
Reviving the night of Eid includes performing acts of obedience such as remembrance [dhikr], supplication [du'a], recitation [tilawa], charity [sadaqa], and maintaining kinship ties [silat al-rahim]. It is recommended to revive the night of Eid with the remembrance of Allah, prayer, and other acts, based on the : "Whoever revives the night of Eid, his heart will not die on the day hearts die," even though it is weak, leniency is granted in hadiths concerning virtuous deeds. It is to revive both Eid nights with worship. It was said: Revival is achieved by performing the 'Isha prayer in congregation and intending to perform the Fajr prayer in congregation.
