Is it permissible for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to utter phrases such as: "Bite him with his father's genitals," and to approve Abu Bakr's saying: "Suck the clitoris of Lat," despite his prohibition of obscenity?

A Muslim should not pay attention to those who disparage the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for his Lord has praised his character by saying: (And indeed, you are of a great moral character). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was shier than a virgin, and he used the most refined expressions when speaking about matters related to private parts, avoiding indecency.

As for the hadith (definition) that contains the command: "Bite your father's penis," this phrase was not used by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, initially; rather, it is a punishment for those who advocate for pre-Islamic calls of ignorance (Jahiliyyah). Its intent is to reprimand those who are prejudiced by Jahiliyyah tribalism, and it is like the punishments and legal limits (hudud) that aim to preserve society and prevent corruption. Scholars have clarified that this phrase is not among blameworthy obscenities; rather, it is a direct mention of a private part due to necessity and benefit, and to reprimand the deserving. This is what great Companions like Ubayy ibn Ka'b and Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with them both, understood and applied.
