What are the deeds that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) recommended and was diligent about?
The Prophet used to enjoin his Companions to fear Allah (have of Allah), and this is Allah's injunction to the ancients and the moderns, as stated in His Almighty قول: "And We have already enjoined upon those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to fear Allah." He also enjoined the fear of Allah, listening and obeying, avoiding innovations in matters, and adhering to the Sunnahs, as mentioned in the of Al-Irbad bin Sariyah. He enjoined Mu'adh ibn Jabal to fear Allah, to follow up a bad deed with a good one, and to interact with people with good manners. So, the deeds that the Prophet enjoined are the fear of Allah, obeying His commands, and avoiding His prohibitions.
