The Hadith (definition) is weak, and Al-Mundhiri and others have judged it as such. Its meaning is that it is an announcement of the emergence of a man whose name is so-and-so, and at the vanguard of his army is a man called Mansour. This man prepares the means with money and weapons for the caliphate and strengthens it with his army. The reference in his saying "for the family of Muhammad" is to the Mahdi. Since the Hadith is weak, no rulings can be built upon it.
