Is it permissible for a husband to take back his disobedient wife who sought divorce and implored him by the honor of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he then divorced her, knowing that she is still within her 'iddah (waiting period) and he loves her, and this is after her family asked him to reconsider and hold on to her?

There is no harm in a husband taking back his wife during her ' (waiting period) unless the divorce was irrevocable. Her consent is not a condition for the ' رجعة' (taking back).
