Is the Hadith of the Cloak considered اضطراب (discrepant/unsettled) due to the variations in its narrations regarding Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) being included with the People of the Cloak, and to what extent is it valid to use this hadith as a proof?

The hadith (definition): "You are in your place, and you are upon goodness" is authentic. It does not contradict the hadith of Ibn Jarir: "You are from my family." However, it is contradicted by the hadith of Ahmad: "Yes, so enter," which is weak due to the weakness of Shahr ibn Hawshab. Thus, the hadith moves beyond the category of idtirab (discrepancy), because the differences between the narrations can be reconciled by preferring some over others, and the ruling is given to the preferred one.
