Who are those who were said to be the Dajjal (Antichrist), or his offspring, or his look-alike? And who was it that asked Abu Sufyan about the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and who among the people followed him, to which Abu Sufyan replied, "The weak among the people," whereupon he said, "Thus are the Prophets; the weak follow them"?

Ibn Sayyad is a Dajjal, and his matter was ambiguous to the Companions, to the extent that they thought he was the Antichrist (Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal), among them being Umar and his son, Abu Dharr, and Jabir. However, the most preponderant opinion is that Ibn Sayyad is not the Greater Dajjal prophesied to appear at the end of time. The hadith (definition) of Fatimah bint Qais Al-Fihriyyah is decisive in this regard.

Heraclius, the Roman Emperor, was the one who asked Abu Sufyan about the characteristics of the Prophet (peace be upon him), his lineage, and his followers.
