Is it permissible to supplicate with the formula: "Oh Allah, just as You did not forget Your servant so-and-so, make Your servant so-and-so not forget You," following the example of the Companion Hudayra?

The supplication attributed to "Hadīr" was mentioned in a weak hadith (definition). However, there is no objection to supplicating with the wording, "O Allah, as You did not forget Muhammad, then make Muhammad not forget You," for its meaning and wording do not contain anything forbidden. Allah does not forget anything, and the servant is commanded to remember Allah. Remembering Allah and not being heedless is a religious requirement, as in the hadith of Mu'adh: "O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You well." The reported supplications are sufficient.
