What is the ruling regarding a brother who describes the sheikhs as hypocrites and liars, and follows channels that fight Islam, such as "MBC" channel?

Cursing the people of knowledge and righteousness, mocking them, and ridiculing them, if done because of their adherence to the Sharia (definition) and their following of the Sunnah (definition), has a different ruling than if it is done due to their personal characteristics. Cursing scholars is a greater sin than cursing common people, because its harm is not limited to the scholar but extends to the Sharia they uphold. It leads to diminishing their status in the eyes of people, causing them to lose trust in them and in the knowledge they present. Therefore, one must be careful to restrain their tongue and not delve into the honor of scholars, unless there is a clear benefit in doing so.
