Which is better: the verbal Sunnah or the practical Sunnah? And what is better regarding the beard: dyeing it or leaving it white?

If there is a conflict between a verbal Sunnah (definition) and an actional Sunnah, the verbal Sunnah is stronger in its proof and indication, and it is given precedence over the actional one. It is recommended to dye a white beard based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Indeed, the Jews and Christians do not dye their hair, so differ from them." Following the Sunnah in all its divisions contains immense good, for the legal ruling is established by the verbal, actional, and tacit Sunnah, in emulation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
