How authentic is the Hadith: "A woman will be with her last husband in this world"? And does it mean that the wife will be with the last husband she had in this world, or with the one who was highest in rank among them, or what? And if the wife is of a higher rank than her husband in Paradise, will he be elevated to her rank or will she descend, and if he is of a higher rank than her, will she be elevated to his rank or will he descend?

The aforementioned is authentic. Allah Almighty, by His grace, elevates the lower-ranked in Paradise to the level of the higher-ranked, uniting beloved ones such as fathers, families, and children. This elevation of the lower to the higher rank is an act of grace and benevolence, without diminishing the rank of the higher, as indicated by the texts of the Holy Quran.
