The answer

The meaning mentioned in the question is correct and has been narrated in authentic hadiths. For instance, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said regarding the pollination of date palms: "You are more knowledgeable about the affairs of your worldly life." And when they overslept and missed the Fajr prayer, he said: "What do you say? If it is something concerning the affairs of your worldly life, then that is your concern, but if it is something concerning the affairs of your religion, then it is my concern." A person's knowledge of their worldly affairs depends on their intelligence, experience, and interest. A person might be knowledgeable about their worldly affairs while knowing little about their religion, and vice versa. Disbelievers are heedless of their religion and their Hereafter, and for this reason, Allah Almighty said concerning them: {They know only the outside [aspect] of the worldly life, while they are heedless of the Hereafter.}
