This wording was narrated by Khalifah ibn Khayyat in his Musnad, and by Al-Tabarani, Abu Dawud, and Al-Nasa'i. Al-Albani said in "Da'if Abi Dawud": "Its chain of narration is weak; Ibn al-Firasi and Muslim ibn Makhshi are unknown." The verifiers of the Musnad said: "Its chain of narration is weak, due to the unknown status of two of its narrators: Muslim ibn Makhshi and Ibn al-Firasi."
