The answer

There are books that specialized in authenticating , such as al-Bukhari and Muslim, which are the most authentic books after the Holy Qur'an. They are followed by Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah, then Ibn Hibban, then Mustadrak al-Hakim. There are other books that contained authentic and non-authentic hadith, such as the Sunan books, Al-Muwatta, and Al-Musnad. One benefits from them by studying them, reading them to scholars, and acting upon what has been established therein.
