What is the authenticity and explanation of the narration attributed to Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, elevated to the Prophet (marfu‘): "The Hour will not be established until the heads of some people are crushed by planets from the sky, due to their legitimizing the عمل قوم لوط (the practice of the people of Lot)?"

This hadith (definition) was exclusively narrated by Al-Daylami in Musnad Al-Firdaws with a weak chain of transmission, which includes: Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash, Isma'il ibn 'Abdullah Al-Lakhmi, for whom no biography has been found, and Muhammad ibn 'Abd Al-Mu'min, who has not been identified. Musnad Al-Firdaws is known for containing weak hadiths, and the absence of this hadith from the well-known Islamic collections is evidence of its weakness. The meaning of the narration contains a severe warning for those who deem lawful the practice of the people of Lut, stating that stars will descend from the sky upon them, crushing their heads.
