What is the authenticity of the hadith: "Indeed, I know a verse that if people were to adopt it, it would suffice them," then he recited: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect"?

The Hadith (definition) was narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Majah from Abu Dharr, who reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I know a verse that if all people were to act upon it, it would suffice them." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, which verse is it?" He replied, "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out."

However, this Hadith is weak because its chain of narration includes Abu as-Salil Dhuraib ibn Nuqair, who, though trustworthy, did not hear from Abu Dharr. Thus, the chain of narration is broken (munqati'). It has been deemed weak by Al-Albani and others.
