What is the authenticity of the hadith: "Treat your women kindly, for the Children of Israel did not treat their women kindly, so their women committed adultery"?

The aforementioned Hadith (definition) has no origin in the books of Sunnah (definition), and it is not permissible to attribute it to the Prophet (peace be upon him). It is obligatory to be cautious of mentioning it in forums and websites and to purify them from it. The authentic Ahadith that command kindness to women and treating them well are sufficient, such as his (peace be upon him) saying: "Treat women kindly," and "The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family."
