The of Abu Damdam was narrated by Abu Dawud as Mursal (with a missing link in the chain of narration), and by Ibn al-Sunni, Al-Bazzar, and Al-Uqayli in "Al-Du'afa" (The Weak Narrators) from Anas. It was deemed weak by Al-Hafiz Al-Iraqi and Al-Albani.
