What was Ibn Abi Dhi'b famous for and what were his most famous works?

He used to criticize the Qadariyyah, strove diligently in worship, and would fast one day and break his fast the next, after which he listed other fasts. He led a rough life. He did not have a book; rather, his was memorized. He was known among men of knowledge for his strictness and speaking the truth. He passed away in the year 159 AH.
