Are wind instruments not among the musical instruments, and what is the evidence for the prohibition of musical instruments, especially wind instruments?

It has been previously explained that musical instruments of all kinds are forbidden. It has been authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he prohibited musical instruments in general, whether they have strings or not, such as the flute and the drum. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Two sounds are cursed in this world and the Hereafter: the sound of a flute at a time of blessing, and wailing at a time of calamity." He also forbade two foolish and wicked sounds, one of them being: "the flutes of Satan." He also forbade the kubah (drum) and bells. Ibn Umar used to put his fingers in his ears upon hearing the sound of a flute, emulating the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Hadith (definition) in Bukhari: "There will be among my ummah people who will consider unlawful sexual intercourse, silk, wine, and musical instruments as lawful" is sufficient to prohibit all types of musical instruments, as the word ma'azif includes everything that is played.
