Is it true that before the Prophet (peace be upon him) was born, a light appeared in the sky?

The vision of the Prophet Muhammad's mother, peace and blessings be upon him, when she conceived him or when he was born, was a light that illuminated the palaces of Syria, a harbinger of his prophethood. This has been reported in several hadiths, some of which scholars have authenticated. Nevertheless, the proofs of his prophethood, peace and blessings be upon him, are not limited to this vision, but are firmly established by definitive evidence.
