Is the attribute of silence affirmed for Allah, the Exalted and Most High, based on the Hadith: "And that which He remained silent about is pardoned"?

Silence is an attribute affirmed for Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, as evidenced by the Sunnah (definition) and scholarly consensus. In the Sunnah, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And what He kept silent about is pardoned," and "He kept silent about things as a mercy to you, not out of forgetfulness." Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah narrated from Abu Ismail al-Ansari al-Harawi his saying: "That Allah is a Speaker; if He wills, He speaks, and if He wills, He is silent." Thus, silence is an attribute affirmed for Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, in a manner befitting His glory, as He Almighty said: {There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.}
