What is the ruling on adopting the "quadrature" method for extracting treasures, where the hand of a girl brought by the extractor extends and points to the location of the treasure?

We have no knowledge of the "Quadrature" method. However, what has been mentioned about the extractor bringing his daughter, who then performs specific movements to guide him to a particular location, indicates that this method is not free of magic or divination, both of which are forbidden. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever comes to a soothsayer or a diviner and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him." Therefore, the correct approach is to avoid such a method.
