The majority of scholars hold the view that performing is permissible throughout the year, with the best time being in . There is no harm for a menstruating woman (ha'idh) or a woman in postpartum bleeding () to perform Umrah, but she should not circumambulate the House (Kaaba) until she becomes pure. As for blood resulting from a miscarriage before the formation of human features, it is considered irregular bleeding (dam fasad), and the woman may pray, fast, and circumambulate the House if she is confident that the mosque will not be defiled.
