Is it permissible for a woman to travel for training without a mahram if her husband is unable to travel and her refusal might affect her promotion?

Promotion is not a necessity that justifies forbidden actions. Traveling without a is (unlawful) and impermissible. Obedience to Allah is the cause of sustenance in this world and goodness in the Hereafter. Therefore, do not undertake the journey except with a mahram.
