What is the ruling on women mixing with men during prayer or when exiting the mosque at Al-Aqsa, and raising voices with worldly talk inside the mosque?

The segregation of men and women is a religious requirement to minimize intermingling. This is evidenced by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, designating a specific gate in the mosque for women and encouraging the Companions not to enter through it. He would also remain after the salutation until the women had departed. Raising one's voice, quarreling, and idle chatter are also disliked in the mosque.
