The answer

A woman must stop praying and performing other acts of worship as soon as she sees menstrual blood, and her action of not praying is correct. Yellowish and brownish discharges during the menstrual period are considered menstruation. If menstruation continues beyond the usual period, it is still considered menstruation as long as it does not exceed 15 days. If menstruation exceeds 15 days, the woman is considered to have (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding), and she should refer to her previous habit, with the extra days being considered Istihadah. She is not required to make up all the prayers she missed, but only the prayers from the days that exceeded her usual period.
