Is it sufficient in worship to love, fear, and hope in Allah, and to have the intention of drawing closer to Him, seeking His reward and pleasure, and obeying His command, or must one also add the motivation of His deserving of worship and the desire to enter Paradise?

All the aforementioned intentions are praiseworthy according to Sharia (definition), for Allah has commanded us to combine the desire for reward with the fear of punishment, and to seek His pleasure. This is as stated in His Almighty saying about Zachariah: "Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us with hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive" and His saying: "Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord?"
