Gifts offered to employees are forbidden unless authorized by the employer, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Gifts to employees are ghulul [unlawful acquisition/embezzlement]." Therefore, it is not permissible to accept this gift except with the employer's permission.
