The agent is a trustee, and trusteeship requires his complete adherence to what is agreed upon with the principal. If the company refuses to allow the employee to increase the rental value of transport vehicles to pay "gratuities" to workers, he must adhere to this condition. Otherwise, he would be exceeding his agency and betraying his trust. For the agent does not possess the right to dispose except as necessitated by the permission of his principal, either by explicit text or by custom.
