"The contract is the law between the contracting parties unless it violates the Quran and , and its details must be known to prevent disputes. If the employer violates regulations and assigns the worker additional work without pay, this is a major sin. The worker may take his right by staying a little extra time beyond his departure time without the employer's knowledge, provided he does not exceed his right and is secure from the consequences of his action. The worker may also refuse any future extra work unless compensated, and if the employer refuses, he should seek another job."
