What is the ruling on the money of a father who works in a tourist restaurant and receives a percentage of the profit, a monthly salary, in addition to tips that he distributes to bus drivers by order of the employer, with the knowledge of the tourism company owner, and he himself takes a tip with the knowledge and encouragement of the employer?

If the tip is with the knowledge of the company or the employer, then there is no harm in it; because the company or the restaurant owner has the right to relinquish a part of their right to the worker. The worker must perfect his work whether he is given a tip or not. Sheikh Ibn Jibreen issued a fatwa (definition) permitting the driver to accept a tip from the vegetable vendor if the employer is aware of it, as an encouragement to the driver for his work.
