Likening health insurance to a doorkeeper is invalid and a false analogy. The Islamic Fiqh Academy has refuted this analogy, clarifying that commercial insurance is a contract of contingent financial exchanges involving excessive uncertainty (gharar (definition)) and gambling. Thus, it is like prohibited gambling (maysir (definition)). Analogizing it to security contracts is incorrect due to the difference in the subject matter of each contract.
