Is the work of a broker in selling properties, such as hotels and lands that may later be used for impermissible matters, considered unlawful, and likewise, is their commission considered unlawful?

Brokerage is a permissible form of ju'alah (a contract for a reward), unless its field of activity is forbidden or leads to the forbidden. Therefore, brokerage is not permissible in the sale of a tourist hotel if it is highly probable that part of it will be used for forbidden acts. Brokerage is permissible in the purchase of land for building villas and apartment buildings, and the broker or seller is not sinful if tenants commit immoral acts therein, unless the sales contracts stipulate their use for such purposes. In that case, it is forbidden to sell, rent, or mediate in such transactions, due to cooperation in sin.
