Is it permissible for an employee, by virtue of their position and knowledge of the company's requirements, to cooperate with a contractor who owns an establishment that competes in the company's tenders in exchange for a percentage of the value of the projects, and is that considered bribery? And what is the ruling if the establishment is owned by their father or one of their brothers?

It is permissible to cooperate with a colleague who owns a contracting company to bid on tenders for the company where the questioner works, provided that the assistance is outside official working hours, that the company allows it, and that there is no cheating or deception, and that no company secrets or competitors' prices are disclosed. If these conditions are met, it is permissible to take a fee for the cooperation. However, if the company does not allow it, or if it involves dereliction of duty or exploitation of the position, then cooperation is not permissible.
