Is the entire salary of a deceased person who left children rightfully theirs, or do his parents have the right to take half of it?

If the salary is disbursed to the employee's family after his death, there are two scenarios: Either it is part of the employee's entitlements accrued from his job, in which case it becomes part of the inheritance and is distributed according to Islamic law. Or it is a grant from the state or another entity, in which case it is disbursed according to what the grantor stipulates, and it is often for minor children and unmarried daughters, and thus it is not considered part of the inheritance. It is not permissible to seize this salary except by a legal right or with the willing consent of the rightful claimant. It is advisable to refer financial disputes and inheritance matters to Sharia (definition) courts for precise resolution and determination of entitlements, heirs, debts, and bequests.
