The answer

It is not permissible to use another person's internet without their permission, as this constitutes an infringement on their rights. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade taking a person's property without their willing consent. Whoever does this must seek absolution from the owner or estimate the cost of usage and deliver it to them, even without their knowledge. This has no effect on the knowledge or certificate obtained; it is not necessary to leave the job or close accounts. Rather, what is obligatory is repentance and refraining from infringing on the rights of others. One must beware of excessive whispers [waswasah] and overdoing them.
