The answer

Sincere repentance erases sins. Fear, regret, and weeping are good things if they are followed by good deeds and abandoning bad ones, along with not despairing of Allah's mercy. Allah the Almighty said: (Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.") [Az-Zumar: 53]. One must combine fear and hope, and frequently remember Allah, for by His remembrance hearts are assured and worries are removed. Allah's mercy is vast, and He is Forgiving and Merciful; He does not reject those who repent. In the Qudsi : "O son of Adam, as long as you invoke Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you for what you have done, and I do not mind..." Obeying one's husband and raising a child are two great acts of obedience that do not conflict with worship.
