There is no harm in the salary of any job whose benefit is permissible. However, the problem lies in the ruling on the work if it is associated with unlawful acts, such as being present in places of evil without denouncing it, looking at 'awrah (private parts), and being exposed to temptations. It is not permissible to work in such fields. If the aforementioned work involves any of that, or the application of a law that contradicts , then it is not permissible to work in it.
