Is it permissible to study at a school that was established for orphans free of charge, then began accepting regular students for a fee, knowing that its founder is unaware of this change? Is this considered deception and taking an orphan's place? And if studying there is unlawful, is it obligatory to make up for it?

There is no harm in studying at the school as long as admission is through official channels. Those in charge of it may see a benefit in admitting non-orphans for the necessity of its continuation, and it is permissible to change the condition of the endower for what is more beneficial.
