The question is to be considered from two angles: 1. The money is collected from students, and among them are minors and those of unsound mind whose dispositions are not valid without the permission of their guardians. Therefore, charity from them requires the approval of their guardians. 2. The money was collected for charity, and purchasing prizes for outstanding students, or a printer for the school, or curtains, does not fulfill the purpose for which the money was collected.
Therefore, the opinion of those who donated the money or their guardians must be sought, and whatever they agree upon should be acted upon.
