What is the ruling on hesitation regarding marriage due to fear of its problems and the difficulty of raising children, despite being able to do so and the parents' desire for it, and sufficing with focusing on prayer and honoring one's parents?
One should not pay attention to failed models in raising children, and should rely on Allah in their upbringing. One must also strive for a sound upbringing and learn its methods, for raising children is among the best and most rewarding deeds. It is an ongoing charity ( Jariyah) and a means of salvation from the Hellfire. Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever is afflicted with these daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Hellfire." And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever has three daughters and is patient with them, feeds them, gives them to drink, and clothes them from his means, they will be a barrier for him from the Hellfire on the Day of Resurrection." (Narrated by Ibn Majah and authenticated by Al-Albani).
